I should be surprised that Intuit doesn’t value the security of Bookkeeping for Veterinarians its users over forcing their own products/identity systems on them. We have confirmed this is not true with QBO Support.The only support for OpenID connect is for authorization for developer apps. An end user can only access QBO companies with an Intuit account. To confirm, there hasn’t been recent documentation about the change in QuickBooks’ behavior, which now requires a one-time passcode even when signing in on a trusted device. As you mentioned, once you log in and enter a one-time passcode on a new device, it won’t ask for the code again and will remember your new device. It is crucial to understand that MFA can’t be turned off since it provides extra protection against password theft.

I’m in agreement with all others on this thread – QBO should definitely add the ability to integrate with other identity providers (Google, AzureAD, or any SAML provider).
